I created this image in Photoshop, using clipping masks, adjustment layers, and a few brushes. I really liked some examples of the dispersion effect I had seen, and felt that the effect would pair excellently with the base image of myself holding a ball of fire. The natural lighting paired very nicely with the dispersion effect to give it this unique look.
